BrightArrow ExecutiveAssistant 3.0 Elevates Level of Office Productivity

 

REDMOND, Wash. – Jan 12, 2004. BrightArrow has delivered its next generation of the ExecutiveAssistant: Version 3.0. This new version expands on the current set of features and brings in a more flexible and reliable solution for the 3Com NBX IP Telephone System. According to Ray Arasteh, Solution Architect for 3Com, “BrightArrow adds greatly to the NBX, contributing major functionality to 3Com’s robust platform.  Now that we offer ExecutiveAssistant to our customers as a 3Com product, the NBX is the most feature-rich IP telephone solution on the market.”

 

Included in ExecutiveAssistant 3.0 is the addition of Whisper to the call recording module. Whisper allows a manager to speak to an employee while they are on the phone, without the customer hearing them. With the strong feature set of recording, Whisper further expands BrightArrow’s platform to meet customers’ needs.

 

BrightArrow has also enhanced its Auto-Attendant flexibility by introducing Multi-level functionality. This new Auto-Attendant allows the customer to have a specific attendant for each department to improve productivity.  It empowers a company to provide a comprehensive, accurate yet low-cost speech-recognition interface for multi-department, multi-language or even multi-company NBX installations.

 

According to Kristine Chiu, Accounting Manager for Javelin, a worldwide event-marketing consortium, “We now no longer have to stop what we are doing to answer every call. We don’t have a receptionist so before we would have to stop and answer every call and then transfer it. Now with BrightArrow, it automatically goes to that person. Also included in ExecutiveAssistant 3.0 is a newly enhanced Call Log features. The new Call Log allows a user to export all of the call log information so that it can be read into Microsoft Excel and developed into reports to be formatted, sorted and printed out in hard copy. Along with Caller ID, date and time and user information, BrightArrow has added a duration field for the length of each call.

 

Eve Halderson, Research and Development for Helsing Group Inc., a leading provider of services to Community Associations, adds: “Knowing who is calling you is very convenient. I don’t even pick up my phone anymore because [ExecutiveAssistant] has spoiled me. If someone is calling and I know I don’t have the information that I need for him or her, instead of wasting his or her time waiting for me to find it, I can see who is calling and prepare for the call.
