PROVIDERS PROGRAM
Redmond, WA, September 15, 2001 – BrightArrow Technologies today announced that it has joined 3Com Corporation’s (NASDAQ: COMS) Solution Providers Program. BrightArrow has proven interoperability between its ExecutiveAssistant solution and the 3Com’s NBX® platform. By working together, 3Com and BrightArrow will offer customers speech recognition solutions that work in conjunction with their 3Com® NBX Networked Telephony solutions.

both legacy and IP-based telephone systems to provide voice recognition-driven
call answering and routing, message recording (voice mail), and integrated
access between voice mail, e-mail, and popular contact management systems. The company’s ExecutiveAssistant solution
delivers an electronic personal assistant to the desktop, enabling each user to
manage incoming calls in a highly personalized yet professional manner.
The 3Com Solution Providers Program is a worldwide program that expands the array of software and services for 3Com’s NBX family of IP-based business telephony systems. The program allows third-party applications vendors to establish interoperability with 3Com’s NBX Networked Telephony platform, giving customers a broader selection of applications that are ensured to work together “out-of-box.” 3Com’s Solution Providers Program meets the growing industry demand for more productivity-enhancing applications that can be integrated with converged voice and data networks.
