Automated dialing made easy! The dialer can be accessed from the server or client stations. Each user can control and manage their own lists.

The list management window shows all configured lists. From here, lists can be added, modified, reset, or removed. In addition to showing the lists, the status of each list is provided to give the administrator quick and easy visability.

If the school takes (and records) attendance in every period, auto-dialing can automatically be initiated every period. In this case, it has the intelligence to know if that parent was already called to prevent multiple calls.

A parent can also choose to receive an e-mail instead of a phone call for the notification.

The most common scenario for using auto-dialing is notifying parents of unexcused student absences. Upon import of a list of absent students (an import that can be done manually or automatically) the parents are dialed and told of their child's absences. The message can be a combination of pre-recorded audio and computer-generated spoken voice identifying the child's name. For example, a computer-generated message might say:

"This is Adams Elementary School. Your child, Brittany, was absent from school today."

The message will either be spoken to a live person who answers the phone or left in voice mail (after the beep). The call can occur during the day when the absence is reported, or delayed until evening if the school prefers.
